Try out information.
We need everyone planning to try out for track to stop by the main office before Feb. 21 (first day of try outs) to double check that all your paper work has been turned in. This will enable a faster transition on Feb. 21 from administrative work to actual practice.
Thanks!

10 Tips for Track Try-Outs
- Dress appropriately. We will be both outside and potentially inside.
- Bring plenty of fluids (the water is not on at the stadium)
- Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch. You will be expending a great number of calories.
- Follow the track twitter @bwoodstrack. Updates are posted there first.
- We will be finishing around 6 pm each day. Please have your ride pick you up at that time or a little before then depending on the weather.
- Come already dressed to practice each day.
- Bring all your school items with you. You will not be allowed back into the school by yourself.
- Ask questions when you are unsure of something.
- Introduce yourself, multiple times, to the various coaches. We will learn names as fast as we can.
- We step on the track at exactly 420 p.m. Do NOT be late. Arrive at the stadium before 410.
- Try different things – field, hurdles, sprints, distance
BONUS: Never stop moving – walk if you have to, but don’t stop.
Tell a coach if you think you are injured.
